What's that saying? Red sky at night, sailor's delight? Maybe we'll have a really nice day tomorrow. I'm just glad we aren't in the path of Snowstorm Jonas.

I hope all of you have had a good start to the new year. Ours has been quiet. We aren't the wild party type and prefer to stay off the roads when the partiers are out. Yeah, I know, we're old & dull.
I've heard that you should start the new year out by doing what you intend to do the rest of the year. So I made a good dinner, played on the computer, loaded a quilt on the quilting machine and did some piecing. This evening I intend to start reading a new book and maybe watch a movie. That should give me a good start for the year.
I don't bother making resolutions. They usually last about two weeks anyway.
The final clue & reveal of Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt, Allietare, came out yesterday. I really like the design and colors. It may have to go on my list of quilts to make. I never do the mystery when it comes out the day after Thanksgiving. It takes me all of the following month to get ready for Christmas. I'm moving slower every year I guess.
Happy New Year!! to all.
