Third One Quilted

This was today's fun project.

The third of the three QOV quilts that were supposed to be finished and mailed off back before Christmas.  Didn't happen. Now the binding remains.

The last two I quilted with the Kathy James Baptist Fan pattern. I did a little remodeling of the starting row and now I think it's my new favorite pantograph. I probably wouldn't put it on a fancy applique quilt or one with a lot of white space, but it would work on just about anything else.

Well, my feet and back are hurting, so it's pizza for supper and then maybe a movie or starting a new book. Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Tomorrow it's back to the grind.

Their First Valentine's Day

Any time you lay them down side by side they hold hands......or bash each other in the face. :)

Hope You All Have A......

Just a Couple of Things

This is my lone piece of Valentine's sewing....it has also become one of my few Valentine's decorations.

Friend Flicsha brought kits to the January quilter's meeting for us to make blocks. Everyone who finished making something with the block got a surprise. Mine is just a simple mat to use as either a candle mat or to set hot dishes on. Here was our surprise:

Handmade scissors keeper from Flicsha.

This is the quilt I quilted for friend Luanne.  I thought it turned out good and she liked it, that's the most important thing.  I quilted it in a feathery design that looked really good on the wide borders.

And that's about it for now.  Hope everyone has a Happy Valentine's Day tomorrow.
