I've only ordered a yard & a half of fabric this year so far for a border on a top I've had put together for at least three years...maybe more. Got it out with the intention of making backing & piecing batting for it and decided I REALLY didn't like the border on it and ripped it off. Hope I like the new fabric better.
As a side note....I'm ready for Spring. This cold weather is getting very old!

ReplyDeleteMade an oops in the previous comment. Although it wasn't one of my NY's resolutions, I sure would like to complete some projects I all ready own plus longarm some of my own finished quilt tops!
ReplyDeletewell, as far as I am concerned: backings and yardage for borders don't count if you are on a "No Buy" LOL as I am this year.
ReplyDeleteso far so good; but I'm not really holding out much hope for the whole year on this fabric diet. (also, bought a ton in last December--ve have our vays...heheheh) hugs, julierose
Very interesting blog. A lot of blogs I see these days don't really provide anything that attract others, but I'm most definitely interested in this one. Just thought that I would post and let you know.
ReplyDeleteSpring ?? What's that ?
ReplyDeleteFor buying fabric, I try but it will not last long.
You just have to have a fabric fix once in a while!
A yard and a half of fabric isn't much at all! I've been good so far, but Im going to a quilt show tomorrow! I'm probably going to break my resolutions too.
